Easy, and difficult. Let me explain... It's easy to find good words for Accelerated Technologies (aka John Sharrard)... words like "awesome" and "knowledgeable" and "he knows his stuff" (okay, that's 4 words) immediately spring to mind. And it's difficult... if not downright IMPOSSIBLE... to think of a roadracing season WITHOUT thinking about Accelerated Technologies. John Sharrard (aka Accelerated Technologies... the two are interchangeable) has been a pillar of the roadracing community for as long as I can remember. Knowledgeable, friendly, hard-working, and a "straight-shooter" kind of guy, John is a master of his craft who has helped countless riders set up, figure out, and properly equip their bikes to better suit their riding and realize their maximum potential. And for those who are eager and willing to learn, John also educates us on anything and everything that we need/want to know about our bike's suspension. Since my return to roadracing, John has helped me figure out and learn about the suspension for all of the racebikes I have raced: the big V-twins, and more recently my Kawasaki ZX-6R. While suspension set-up is usually about compromise, John clearly explains the choices you have without pushing a particular brand or product. Choices are very good to have and are always appreciated. Having worked in the industry for a very long time, John really knows what's what, what works, what doesn't, what to be careful of, and with emerging technolgies... what to keep an eye on. From Öhlins - to Elka - to K-Tech and many many others... chances are very good that he has worked on them or sold them! From those of us who have been fortunate enough to know John and have benefitted from his products and services, I believe that I speak for most of us when I say:
